Lighting
This area we will discuss the different lighting available to the aquarist in 2007. We will aso describe positioning of your system over the tank for 'best fit'.
Lighting Positioning

When you start looking at lighting your first through is what do I need to keep my animals alive? This all depends on what you want to keep.

If you are setting up a Reef Aquarium, and you wish to keep light loving coral than the brightest, most powerful lighting is for you. That said you can create a realistic reef set-up with coral requiring lower levels of lighting. And a fish only system requires only enough light to see by.

Please check out your creatures requirements in Species FAQS.
